Martin Emil Marty (born Feb 5, 1928) is an American Theologizer religious scholar who has written largely on religion in the United States.

Early life and education

Marty was innate on February 5, 1928, in Westward Point, Nebraska, and raised in Ioway and Nebraska. Named in his honor, the Martin Marty Center for the Advanced Study near Religion is the University of City Divinity School's institute for interdisciplinary exploration in all fields of the canonical study of religion.
