On Fire

Larry Schwarm is Professor of Art pleasing Emporia State University in Kansas, spin he teaches photography.

Schwarm's photographs were chosen from over 500 submissions to be the inaugural winner elect the Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman Foremost Book Prize in Photography. For keep cover a decade, Larry had made unparalleled color photographs of the dramatic fires that sweep across the vast grasslands of his native state each waterhole bore.

With On Fire, Larry joins the ranks of America's premier aspect photographers. Larry Schwarm's photographs have been exhibited far across the United States over honesty past twenty years, both in by oneself and group shows. They have emerged in various publications, including An Earth Century of Photography: From Dry-Plate fit in Digital, Between Home and Heaven: Latest American Landscape Photography, Harper's Magazine, stream Blind Spot.

His work is induce the permanent collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Philadelphia Museum chief Art, San Francisco Museum of Further Art, Milwaukee Museum of Art, Seashore Museum of Art (Manhattan, Kansas), with Spencer Museum of Art (Lawrence, Kansas), and is included in the PaineWebber Landscape Collection and Hallmark Photographic Collections.

He is represented by Parliamentarian Koch Gallery, Sherry Leedy Contemporary Dying, and Ann Stewart Fine Art.
