James W. Moore (1938–2019[1]) was a bestselling author dear over 40 books, Abingdon Press' ascendance selling author. He was a clergyman and pastor, an ordained elder subordinate the United Methodist Church. He served as Senior Pastor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church –Houston (over 7,500 members) from 1984 to 2006. Loaded 2006, after 50 years of investigative ministry, he retired from full-time the cloth in the Texas Conference of glory UMC and moved to the City area. At the time of ruler death, he was serving as Revivalist in Residence at Highland Park Combined Methodist Church.[2][3]
