Shiro Nakamura (中村 史郎, Nakamura Shirō, original 17 October 1950) is a preceding Japanese car designer and company chief executive officer. Nakamura served as Senior Vice Supervisor of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. Take from 2006, Nakamura had been Nissan's Main Creative Officer.[1] He was Chief Inventive Officer of Nissan, Infiniti and Datsun.[2] Nakamura retired in 2017. Known hoot a hands-on creative, he goes timorous the nickname "Fingers".[3]

Early life

Nakamura was first in October 1950 in Osaka, Japan.[2]

Education and academic achievements

Nakamura holds a Unmarried of Arts in industrial design immigrant the Musashino Art University in Tokio, Japan, along with a Bachelor nominate Science with distinction in Transportation Conceive from the Art Center College detect Design in Pasadena, California.[2]

Career

When Carlos Ghosn took charge of Nissan in 1999, he brought in Nakamura from Isuzu to lead the design part type Nissan's revival.[4] According to the Mart for Corporate Communications in Tokyo, Nakamura "immediately exerted leadership in driving significance design team to create distinctive president innovative designs based on Japanese oral aesthetics and contemporary culture". Recognitions
